A Sportsman’s Paradise

The ranch is set up for high-end bird-shooting combining European traditions with Western sensibilities. Native sharp-tail and ruffed grouse inhabit the ranch. Pheasants and chucker are released each season for European-style driven shooting and walk-up shooting over professionally trained dogs. There are many drives on the ranch that can accommodate beginners as well as advanced shooters. Depending on the drive, birds can be presented to a line of eight guns between 20 to 50 yards high. A portion of the arable land is dedicated to bird-attracting cover crops of corn and sunflowers. The ranch also has a dog kennel with 15 runs. Duck hunting is available to members on a nearby farm with warm water sloughs and grain crops that attract ducks well into the winter.
