We currently have one chocolate female, one chocolate male, and three yellow males still available for their forever homes! These babies will be ready to go July 30th. They are AKC registered and will come with their first and second set of shots and dew claws removed. Parents are hip, elbow, and eye certified through OFA. As well as EIC and CNM clear.

The Team at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch
Elk Hunts
The elk are back and looking fit and healthy in spite of a hard winter. These guys are bulking up and growing the huge antlers typical of the elk who make Lazy Triple Creek Ranch their home in summer and fall.
We will close the ranch from October 12 to 20 for elk season. We are sold out for 2023. If you would like to join us for the elk hunt of a lifetime in October 2024, let us know before the end of November 2023.
Lazy Triple Creek Outfitting is now licensed and should be eligible for outfitter tags in 2024.
Stays in the Lodge and Upland Bird Shooting
Bring a group of up to eight for driven shooting plus walkups for one, two, or three days, staying in the Lodge with all meals catered by our private chefs.
Upland Bird Hunting 2023
The upland bird season opens on August 15 in Idaho.
We will be offering European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities without walkups until the end of August. Our experience is it is too hot for the dogs and the hunters for walkup hunting until the beginning of September.
Beginning on September 1 Driven shoots will include walkups and we will be open for walkup hunting with guides and dogs. We are close to being sold out of pegs for scheduled European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities this year. We have six open pegs on September 2 and four on November 18.
We can schedule additional driven shooting days September 23 and October 7 if there is interest. Minimum four (which we will make available to four more). Maximum eight. We can accommodate from two to six for walkup hunts with guides and dogs on multiple days, but these too will have sold out if you don’t book soon.
Cast and Blast: New for 2023
We are half way through the Cast and Blast season. Boats and guides are hard to find. Book now if you want to shoot and fish this season.
Pistol, Rifle Classes, and Custom Ammunition
A get to know your defensive pistol class will be held August 18 with George Harris as our guest instructor. Maximum eight. Hammer Bullets and AllTerra Arms will be joining us for the Long-range Precision Rifle and Reloading Custom Ammunition for your Hunting Rifle on August 19 and 20. Maximum of eight for the rifle course with our rifles and ammunition and maximum of four for the reloading custom ammunition for your rifle with the founders of Hammer Bullets. There will be opportunities to shoot AllTerra Arms fine rifles out to one mile.
George has written a book, “Marksmanship Simplified.” Well worth reading. Even better, bring a copy on August 18 and George will sign it for you. Order here.
The goal on August 20 is for you to leave with 100 rounds of hunting ammunition custom loaded for your rifle with external ballistics data out to as far as you want to shoot. This is not a class in reloading.
The cocktails and conversations at the end of each day will be unique and an unbelievable learning experience with the shooting folks who will be joining us.

Shooting Sportsman Endorsed Lodge
The major news this month is Lazy Triple Creek Ranch has been named a Shooting Sportsman Endorsed Lodge, one of nineteen in the country.
The other news is we are busy with guests shooting every week. A group of nine stayed three nights for Cast and Blast and, excuse the pun, had a blast. Nine guns, 2,400 rounds of shotgun ammunition. Three joined the one mile club, hitting our one mile target from the deck. Members of this group signed up for two more bookings. High praise indeed.
Come join us on our world-class clays courses any day except Sundays and Monday. Minimum two, maximum 12. We provide lunch for four or more. Instructors available. $390 plus 6% tax. $300 for locals including tax on the first and second Saturdays of each month. Only two left: August 5 and 12.
