BACKCOUNTRY ELK HUNTS FROM LUXURY LODGE
Experience a Rocky Mountain elk hunt from our luxury lodge.
The four square miles of our ranch attract large herds of elk who come for the cover crops we plant for upland birds and stay because of historically low hunting pressure. Bachelor bulls and breeding herds of up to 200 cows, calves, and bulls make the ranch their home during hunting season. Herd bulls score 320 to 380 on the Boone and Crocket scale with the occasional 400 scoring monster appearing in the corn fields.
We harvest only a limited number of trophy bulls each year, as recommended by Idaho Fish & Game, to sustain this amazing resource. We provide local knowledge, expert guiding, and luxury accommodations for a small number of guests to enjoy the hunting experience of a lifetime.
Antlered Elk Season runs from October 15 – 21. Tags are available over the counter, but tags sell out rapidly when they go on sale on December 1. When your trophy is on the ground, our ranch manager arrives with a front-end loader and a two-ton truck to process your trophy. Lazy Triple Creek elk have been first to the game processing plant for many years. Expert taxidermy is available locally.
