Transitioning to Fall
The fall upland bird wing shooting season at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch kicked off on August 15 with a sold out European-Style Driven Shoot with Western Sensibilities.

European-Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities
Our signature driven shoots are fully booked through October 26, with two individual pegs open early in the season.
September 29: 1 open peg
September 30: 1 open peg
We also have an opening for two, ideally a father/son group, arriving on October 23; a simulated driven shoot with clays high overhead that afternoon; driven shoots on October 24 and 25; departing on October 25 or 26. This won’t last long.
We are putting together additional shoots between October 26 and November 15. Please contact us if you would like to join an open shoot as an individual/small party, or if you wish to reserve a full shoot for a private line of eight guns.

Walk-Up Hunts
Openings remain for walk-up hunts on the following dates:
September 2: Up to 4 guns
September 20, 21, and 23: Up to 6 guns per day
September 22: Up to 2 guns
October 2 and 5: Up to 2 guns per day
2027 Season Bookings Now Open
If the remaining 2026 dates don’t work for you and your group, book now for our 2027 Season at 2026 prices if booked by the end of November with the following priorities:
1: Fly-Fishing
We are taking bookings now for fly-fishing the iconic rivers of Eastern Idaho from May 1 to August 10, 2027. Availability is good now, but the calendar is filling up.
2: Clays and Cast & Blast
We are also taking bookings now for our world-class clay courses from June 1 to August 10, 2027. Combine a stay in our luxury lodge with a day or two shooting and a day or two fishing for Cast & Blast.
3: European-Style Driven Shooting
We are taking 2027 wait list bookings now for groups of eight coming for our signature experience, European-Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities, for any days not rebooked by those shooting with us in 2026.
4: Open Pegs, Walk-Up, and Elk Hunts
At the end of October, we will open 2027 bookings for those not part of groups of eight wanting to fill open pegs, those interested in walk-up hunting with guides and dogs, and anyone interested in a backcountry elk hunt while staying in our luxury lodge.
A Fishing (and Hunting) Tale
Same Lazy Triple Creek Ranch Hats in a remote location in Alaska, accessible only by float plane plus a one-hour boat ride. There must be a story here.
The story is that Hank, on the left, owns Lazy Triple Creek Ranch and fishes for salmon at Steamboat Bay Fishing Club. Peter, on the right, owns Steamboat Bay Fishing Club and hunts upland birds at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch.
