We have all shot at many places in the world but we all agreed this was one of THE best trips ever. I am already working on some possible dates to bring a Leash Club group back there for a cast and blast again in 2022.
We had a great chance to get to know Steve and the crew. Having visited a number of Orvis and Beretta lodges, I have to say that the crew here is outstanding among the people I see in similar roles. When we had comments or requests, they listened and acted on them. The facilities are well-maintained and immaculate. Just a wonderful experience.
The lodge itself is perfectly suited to relaxing, with handsome furnishings and warm and friendly staff. A truly memorable visit!
Lazy Triple Creek Ranch is a lovely lodge and hunting facility of 2,200 beautiful acres. We were welcomed by Steve, our experienced guide, and his yellow lab Pete. Steve warmed us up on the sporting clay course then we headed to the fields for some fast flying walk up hunting. It was a delight watching both yellow labs work to flush some pheasant and partridge. We were able to harvest 7 pheasant and 4 partridge.
After a successful morning, we were treated to a delicious lunch overlooking the canyon and hunting fields on the property.
If you really want to have a memorable wing shooting experience, the Lazy Triple Creek Ranch is a exceptional choice.
This was my first pheasant hunting experience and I am hooked. The walkup hunts were very fun and the dogs did a great job.
The property is serene and the wildlife was fun to watch. Elk, moose, deer, pheasant, bald eagle... all before the first cup of coffee!
What more could one want? OK, I guess next time I want to shoot my rifle out to 1000+ yards. 😉
I am already looking forward to my next visit.
My son, son-in-law, and his father spent the first three days of the Idaho elk hunting season with Hank and his son, Jaime. While my son Nate harvested an incredible bull, the family experience we shared was the most significant memory and fulfilled my primary goal for the trip. Hank and Jaime understood this and did their best to make it so, and I can't thank them enough.
Lazy Triple Creek Ranch is a special place that you should take advantage of if you get the chance. We've already booked our next trip and are looking forward to it with great anticipation. Thanks to everyone at LTC who made this a special memory.
Brutus is still out there.
