BACKCOUNTRY ELK HUNTS WITH WORLD CLASS ACCOMMODATIONS
The four square miles of our ranch have been quite successfully hunted by the current owner and his son. The low hunting pressure at the ranch makes the conditions a sanctuary for the elk herds of Bridger Teton National Forest. Bachelor bulls and breeding herds of up to 200 cows, calves, and bulls make the ranch a sanctuary during hunting season. Herd bulls score 320 to 360 on the Boone & Crocket scale with the occasional 400 scoring monster appearing in the corn fields.
To ensure the sustainability of the herds of big game animals who frequent the ranch, we plant food crops for deer, moose, and elk. We harvest only a very limited number of trophy bulls each year, as recommended by Idaho Fish & Game. We provide local knowledge and luxury accommodations for a small number of guests to enjoy the hunting experience of a lifetime.
Antlered Elk Season runs from October 15 – 21. Tags are available over the counter—no draw. When your trophy is on the ground, simply call our ranch manager and he’ll arrive with a front-end loader and a two-ton truck to help with your prize. Lazy Triple Creek elk have been first to the game processing plant for several years. Expert taxidermy is available locally.
