The record for most smiles and laughs goes to this group shooting our new format for European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities, two drives at each of two locations, a break for Elevenses, two drives at a third location, lunch, two drives at each of two more locations, and ending the day with cocktails and conversation on the lodge deck or in front of the fire.

Records are made to be broken. We have had several groups with bird bags in the 400’s. This group broke through the next barrier with the first-ever 500+ bird bag at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch. Breaking this one will be a challenge, but a 600 bird bag is now within reach.

There are no bird limits ever at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch. The only limit is your shooting ability. These guys passed that test. Well done!

Booking for 2026
We plan to open our 2026 season on May 1 for fishing clients only, until we open our clays facilities – weather permitting – on June 1.
Bookings with deposits received by December 15 will be confirmed at 2025 prices. Book early.
WORLD FAMOUS FLY-FISHING
Stay in our luxury lodge and fish the iconic fly-fishing rivers of Eastern Idaho, the South Fork, Henry’s Fork, Madison, Teton, and more. Availability is good, but book early. The best fly-fishing guides are booked early.
CAST AND BLAST
Starting June 1, add a day or two on our extensive clays facilities, trap, skeet, grouse butt, crazy quail, five stand, and what many call the world’s best 14-station sporting clays course. Availability is good.
UPLAND BIRD HUNTING
Join us for what we were built for, European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities, beginning August 15.
All drive shooting, no walkups, in August (too hot for the dogs) and November (the elk will have destroyed our cover crops).
Availability is good in August, limited in September and October, and good again in November.
Open dates for upland bird hunting, including walkup hunts with guides and dogs, as part of a three to four-night stay are as follows:
• September 1 to 8
• September 20 to 23
• September 29 to October 7
• October 27 to 30
More dates are available in late August and early November for European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities, no walkups.
We are taking bookings now for groups of eight for driven shooting. Our Ranch Manager, Steve, says, “Let us do what we do best.” This is what we do best, European Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities. Groups of eight have exclusive use of our luxury lodge and the best wingshooting that our clients experience anywhere.
Walkup hunts not part of a driven shooting day or without lodge stays will be available on occasional days between driven shoots in September and October.
Join our list of those wanting to shoot with us without overnight stays, and we will contact you as soon as we know our availability on days we are not running driven shoots.
ELK HUNTS
Backcountry elk hunts while staying in our luxury lodge are sold out for 2026. Check back by late October 2026 for 2027 availability.

How We Are "Clearly Different"
A large, national firm is running an ad campaign with the tag line of “A Clearly Different Money Management Firm.” Brilliant.
This got us thinking that while we share a passion for world-class fishing, shooting, hunting, and hospitality with other top lodges, we too are “clearly different.” Based on our own experience fishing and shooting elsewhere around the world, here are the differences we see.
• We are small, exclusive, and private. Ideal for groups of eight, maximum 14.
• Your group of minimum of eight will have exclusive use of the lodge, 2,200-acre ranch, and facilities.
• No double occupancy rooms except for couples sharing queen or king beds. No extra charges for single rooms.
• All bedrooms have ensuite baths.
• Pricing 30 to 50% below comparable lodges. This may be surprising but reflects our philosophy that we too want the very best but also appreciate value for money.
• No bird limits ever.
• No extra charges for loaner shotguns, ammunition, or anything else other than sales and lodging taxes, and gratuities for the staff. Pricing is all-inclusive.
