We are issuing this issue of Ranch News early because we have a few remaining shooting opportunities in early September.

Read to the end and learn about a unique and rare fishing opportunity for Atlantic salmon at a private salmon club in New Brunswick, Canada. At the peak of the fall color, no less.

We have been “crying wolf” concerning the limited availability of shooting opportunities for 2025 for a few months now. You decide if we are sold out or not. Here are the last available dates at our luxury fishing and hunting lodge two weeks into our 2025 hunting season.

Full-day driven hunts, which we call European-Style Driven Shoots with Western Sensibilities. Two drives at each of two locations, Elevenses, two drives at a third location, lunch, two drives at each of two additional locations after lunch, ending with cocktails and conversation on our deck at the end of the day.

We know of no game estate anywhere in the world offering this volume of pheasant shooting—more shooting, less waiting, less driving from location to location, less walking. And the best compliment we have ever received, “Change nothing. You are a no BS operation.”

We are truly blessed with the natural topography of Lazy Triple Creek Ranch and the foresight of Edward Watson, Executive Director of the West London Shooting School and famous English game estate manager, and our own Ranch Manager, Steve Sorensen, who trained in the UK, who together created a game estate which rivals anything, anywhere in the world. Just ask those who shoot with us (who do shoot everywhere in the world).

We are in the, “Sorry we are unable to accommodate your requested dates. Please book early for 2026.” season.

Rank has privileges as they say, but to us so does customer loyalty. Over 90% of those who shoot or hunt with us rebook for the following season. We sell out every year, and we want to reward our returning clients.

Here is the reservation process for 2026:

1:  We are taking 2026 reservations now for any dates that were open in 2025. These are mainly from June 1 to August 15.

2:  We will be taking 2026 reservations for groups of six to eight shooting with us this year for European Style Driven Shooting at the end of their 2025 hunt.

3:  On November 1, we will begin taking reservations for all 2026 dates still available.

4:  Elk hunt reservations for 2026 will be available starting at the end of October this year. Preference will go to those hunting with us this year and other existing clients.

As with most things we do, except firearms safety, please know that exceptions will be considered. Call with any special requests for 2026.

In an earlier issue of Ranch News we introduced the opportunity to fish for Atlantic salmon on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, Canada. Two of eight spots are sold. There is still time to take advantage of this rare opportunity to spend one week fishing the iconic Miramichi at Sutter’s, the equally famous, private salmon fishing club.

Opportunities to fish on Sutter’s private water are usually available only to owners and their guests. The owners of Lazy Triple Creek are also owners, with ten others, of Sutter’s. Their week, October 4 to 11, is available this year.

This is an opportunity not to be missed if you want to experience the very best fishing in the world for Atlantic salmon. I hear the grouse hunting is also excellent that time of year.  Contact us if you are interested.
