Spring and Summer Fly-Fishing
“You should have been here last week.”
We have all heard that said during a slow week of fishing. Don’t be that guy.
Book now for what promises to be an epic year on the blue-ribbon trout rivers of Eastern Idaho. Early spring and summer fishing should be fantastic. An unusually mild winter will be great for bugs and fish. Big browns, aggressive rainbows, and native cut-throats are turning on.
This won’t last all season. Big brown trout are feeding aggressively now. More aggressive rainbows and then cut-throat will follow. Wait too long, and you will hear, “You should have been here last week.”
We are open for fly-fishing from May 1 for those who want in on the early action.
We have good availability in our lodge for groups fishing or enjoying our world-class clay facilities now through August 15, but the best fishing guides are selling out rapidly. If you want to fish with the very best outfitters and guides on the best rivers for the time of year, make your reservation now.
Clays, Clays, and More Clays
“This course is without equal.”
Our extensive clays facilities will open early this year, hopefully by May 15.
We have good availability until mid-August in the Lodge and on our trap, skeet, grouse butt, crazy quail, five-stand, and what many believe is the world’s best 14-station sporting clays course.
Combine a few days of shooting with a few days fishing the iconic fly-fishing rivers of Eastern Idaho for Cast and Blast.
European-Style Driven Shooting
Join us for what we were built for.
The season opens on August 15. Opportunities to hunt upland birds with us sell out each year. 2026 will be no different.
Book now for our remaining dates if you seek European-Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities or walk-up hunting with guides and dogs (September/October only).
We have availability for groups of up to eight on the following dates:
August 18 to 24
August 28 to September 2
September 20 to 22
October 27 to November 15
We give priority to groups of eight for our signature Driven Shooting events on these dates.
For smaller groups (two or more) we have open pegs on the following dates:
September 5: Two open pegs
September 15 to 18: Potentially up to four open pegs
Let us know if you would like to shoot with us if you are two or more. We will try to put you with a group on available days.
Our format for driven shooting starts with two drives at each of two locations, a break for elevenses, two more drives at a third location, lunch, and then either two more drives at each of two locations or walk-up hunting with guides and dogs after lunch. The day ends with cocktails and conversation on the deck.
We offer more shooting, less waiting, and prices significantly below what others charge for less shooting. Our guns love it.
No bird limits, no extra charges for loaner shotguns or ammunition, birds breasted and vacuum-packed for your departure. No additional charges, except for 6% Idaho sales tax, 2% Idaho lodging tax, and gratuities for the staff.
Walk-Up Hunting
Walk-up hunting with guides and dogs generally runs September and October only.
Available dates:
September 4, 7, and 20 to 23
October 2, 4, 5, and 11
Possibly after October 27 depending on what the elk do to our cover crops
Long-Range Rifle Class
On August 22, we have scheduled a long-range, precision rifle class with George Harris, 39-year Army veteran who shot for and coached the Army’s rifle and pistol teams, and is the co-founder of the Sig Arms Academy. George will make you a better shooter, guaranteed.
The morning will be on our 500-yard rifle range with our rifles and ammunition focusing on the fundamentals of marksmanship.
After lunch we will move to our one-mile range with targets out to one mile with our rifles, or yours if you wish, to focus on longer range shooting variables including reading wind, spin drift, subsonic flight, and the Coriolis force, all with individual coaching.
This is an opportunity not to be missed. We can accommodate up to eight. Six places available. If you’re interested, contact us now.
Atlantic Salmon Fishing Opportunity
In the Atlantic salmon fishing world, the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, Canada is legendary. And on that river, the private salmon fishing club Sutter’s is equally famous.
The Club is private, and opportunities to fish there are usually available only to owners and their guests. The owners of Lazy Triple Creek are also part owners of Sutter’s. Their week, June 27 to July 4, is available this year.
Accommodation, all meals, and guided fishing all for less than $550 per person per day.
Book soon for a rare opportunity. Contact us if you are interested.
