Fall Shooting is Underway at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch
Our fall season at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch opened with a bang — many bangs, actually — and the shooting has been outstanding.
The Edwardian-era traditions we honor continue today, from the peg draw to Elevenses.
These traditions are an important part of what makes a day of driven shooting at the ranch unlike anything else.
To the birds…
This sport is about far more than birds and shooting. It’s about friendships, camaraderie, and continuing traditions that are hundreds of years old — but doing it here in America, where everything is bigger and better.
That’s the origin of what we do at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch: European-Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities.
And we mean it.
One of the best compliments we’ve ever received came in response to our question:
“How do we make this better?”
The answer was simple:
“Don’t change a thing. This is a no-BS operation.”
We get it. And when you experience a few days at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch, we think you will too. Just not this year — likely.

September 30: Join the Old Bulls
Our fall driven shooting season is essentially sold out, with one open peg remaining on September 30 for a full day of driven shooting with a very special group known as the Old Bulls.
The Old Bulls are looking for another excellent shot — male or female — to help them break the record they set last year.
Are you up for it?
October 27 – November 15
Beyond that one available peg, we are putting groups together for October 27 through November 15.
Come with a group of eight, or let us know if you’d like to experience a few days of no-BS shooting, friendship, and great company. We’ll put groups of like-minded shooters together whenever possible.

2027 Fly-Fishing
We are now accepting bookings for fly-fishing from May 1 through August 15, as well as our popular Cast and Blast experience from June 1 through August 15.
Cast and Blast combines one or two days of fly-fishing on the iconic rivers of Eastern Idaho with one or two days on our sporting clays course, all while staying at our luxury lodge.
It’s an exceptional way to experience the best of Idaho’s rivers, shooting, sporting traditions, and Western hospitality in one trip.
2027 European-Style Driven Shooting
If you are interested in our signature offering — European-Style Driven Shooting with Western Sensibilities — let us know. We’ll add you or your group to our waiting list for the 2027 season.
We sell out every season, and we expect 2027 to be no different.
We plan to confirm 2027 bookings by early November. Priority is given to groups who shot with us in 2026, groups of eight, and families who want to experience this tradition together.
We especially like families shooting together. That makes families stronger — and, we believe, it makes our nation stronger.
As with all things at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch, except firearms safety, we’ll consider exceptions.
