EUROPEAN TRADITIONS WITH WESTERN SENSIBILITIES
Our 2,200 acre Idaho ranch is designed to provide high-end upland bird and driven pheasant shoots that combine European traditions with Western sensibilities. The Idaho hunting season varies, but pheasant and chukar seasons open on August 15 and extend to early in the following year.
ENJOY EUROPEAN STYLE DRIVEN SHOOTING IN AMERICA
The experience of an overhead-driven shoot has traditionally been limited to European hunting lodges. Lazy Triple Creek Ranch has numerous shooting drives on the ranch that are suitable for beginners as well as challenging enough for advanced shooters. Depending on the drive, birds can be presented to a line of eight guns from 20 to 50 yards high.
WALK-UP SHOOTING FOR ALL LEVELS
Parts of the ranch are planted with bird-holding cover crops of corn, sorghum, and sunflowers for walk-up shooting behind well-trained dogs. We provide guides and dogs. Your own well-trained hunting dog is welcome.
A unique offering at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch is our ability to accommodate bird hunters who cannot handle all the walking involved in walk-up hunting behind dogs. Inspired by forward guide seats used in Africa, two of our Polaris Rangers are equipped with forward shooting seats so all can enjoy the thrills of upland bird shooting without all the walking.
